Inside the Yoga Exchange

All classes at The Yoga Exchange are offered in the Vinyasa style. The word Vinyasa means, synchronized movement with breath. The instructors guide students to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This Vinyasa style allows for a lot of variety. Whether the class is fast or slow, includes chanting or is very alignment oriented will depend upon the individual teacher. All classes and teachings will inspire students to feel the art of the Human Spirit while blending the grace and science of biomechanics.

Introduction to Vinyasa
Focuses on the proper execution of Sun Salutations as well as basic postures. These include standing, balancing, backbends and some inverted poses. New students are encouraged to begin their experience at The Yoga Exchange with this class. Please note that all levels are welcome. Everyone can benefit from the basics.
Time of class, 60, 75 and 90 minutes.

Vinyasa Flow
Students are encouraged to focus, breath and properly align in a continuous posture flow.  In this class students will be introduced to advanced postures: arm balances, headstands, forearmstands, backbends, and deeper twists.  If you are new to the studio please consult with the teacher before the class begins. 
Time of class, 60, 75 and 90 minutes.
