Schedule of Classes
All classes at The Yoga Exchange are offered in the Vinyasa style. The word Vinyasa means, synchronized movement with breath. The instructors guide students to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This Vinyasa style allows for a lot of variety. Whether the class is fast or slow, includes chanting or is very alignment oriented will depend upon the individual teacher. All classes and teachings will inspire students to feel the art of the Human Spirit while blending the grace and science of biomechanics.
Introduction to Vinyasa
Focuses on the proper execution of Sun Salutations as well as basic postures. These
include standing, balancing, backbends and some inverted poses. New students
are encouraged to begin their experience at The Yoga Exchange with this class. Please
note that all levels are welcome. Everyone can benefit from the basics.
Time of class, 60, 75 and 90 minutes.
Vinyasa Flow
Students are encouraged to focus, breath and properly align
in a continuous posture flow. In this class students will be introduced
to advanced postures: arm balances, headstands, forearmstands, backbends, and
deeper twists. If you are new to the studio please consult with the teacher
before the class begins.
Time of class, 60, 75 and 90 minutes.

- Business Special: 3 or more people employed by the same business may purchase monthly unlimited for $85 apiece. All employees must buy and renew pass on the same date. Valid for 30 days.

- Avoid eating 2 hours before class.
- Wear comfortable activewear to class.
- Bring your own mat (mat rental available).
- Bring a towel.
- Drink lots of water throughout the day.

- Arrive at least 5 minutes before class. Do not enter once class begins.
- Make sure to turn your cell phone off before entering the studio.
- No shoes on the studio floor.
- Please refrain from wearing perfumes, and please bathe prior to class.
- Only water bottles with caps allowed on the practice floor. No tea, coffee, juice etc.
- Tell the teacher before class if you have to leave early, and make sure to exit the studio quietly.
- Let the teacher know if you are pregnant, have an injury or are new to the studio. (If you are pregnant make sure you consult with your doctor prior to attending a class.)
- We are not responsible for your belongings.
- We welcome your enthusiasm and positive attitude.
- Prepare for a vigorous practice.
